Self-development starts with deep reflection of one’s own thoughts. It’s important to take the time on a regular basis to reflect on how you authentically feel to validate both the negative and positive thoughts you may have about yourself in order to improve your well-being.
How To Make Journaling a Habit?
Make journaling apart of your routine to manifest the best version of yourself. Some simple ways to do this include having a designated area to write solely in your journals, blocking off a certain hour of the day to focus on journaling, or carrying your journal in your work/school bag to record your train of thought.
Don’t Know What to Write? I Got You…
If you are having trouble journaling daily, let me know start off by telling you that it will get better and you will understand what journaling habits work for you the more you practice. Personally for me, I journal by recording how I feel about a situation and what I can learn as a result of that situation rather than writing down my day-to-day activities like a diary. In summary, try recording your thought process and how you analyze something to gain clarity as a form of personal therapy.

Journaling is different for everyone but common outcomes include feeling refreshed and organized mentally as journaling can be extremely therapeutic and generating creative ideas as a result of letting out all the clutter in your mind.
